With the help of the R&D of Vostermans and the technical sales department we looked for a fitting solution and found this among the wide range of options.
We asked Roel Gijsbers from the Projects & Engineering department about his experience with Vostermans fans in the Aufero system developed by ENS. This system is often applied to purify air in areas such as parking garages, bus stations, working environments and industrial halls. In the system, fans realize the suction of air.
ENS started their search for fans during the redesign of the Aufero system. When asked what features were important to them when choosing between fans, Roel indicated that energy efficiency, flexibility and price were the decisive factors for them.
Roel: “The main goal of ENS with the Aufero system was to achieve the maximum amount of air volume using a minimum amount of energy at an acceptable sound level. Besides that, we look for added value in a supplier, who then in fact becomes a partner.”
ENS then linked up with Vostermans to decide on the most suitable fans and to request additional advice on the optimal use of fans in the system. After consultation, they decided to use a pull or “suction” system to collect the dust particles. “Looking at potential future adjustments, this had several benefits. Now, 3 years later, the system is still running as expected.
