Exhaust fans
When searching for the best ventilation solution for your application, the first step is choosing between two ventilation principles: natural and mechanical. Choosing for natural ventilation can, however, result in an insufficient air exchange or temperature change. A problem which can be easily solved with the help of mechanical ventilation, using fans.
Our exhaust fans are used in dairy barns, poultry houses, pig barns, greenhouses, and various industrial applications. Each industry has its own challenges, requiring different ventilation methods. It is always important to ensure sufficient ventilation, taking into account temperature, occupancy, humidity and other gases or substances. More info on these topics can be found on one of our specific segment pages.
What is the ideal operating range of my fan?
We have numerous standard configurations available for every fan model. These are tested one by one to determine the ideal operating range of the fan using a QH curve. Depending on the practical situation, such as the difference between the indoor and outdoor air pressure and the resistance factor, it is important that the right fan is chosen.
If the ideal operating range of the fan is not in line with the practical situation, there is a chance that the fan will use a lot of extra energy or that its output will decrease significantly. Do you want a speed controllable fan? Then realize that the QH curve also changes when you reduce the fan speed.
