The space actually consists of several garages with 4 garage doors on each side, as Davy describes. “We converted it into a sports studio, but because it is a closed space, we had problems with hot, oppressive air getting stuck. Less than ideal in a space where people are pushing themselves to the limit”.
“And the current corona situation is, of course, an additional reason to tackle this problem now,” said Davy. It is very important to continuously exchange indoor air through ventilation. “I contacted Vostermans Ventilation for advice. They advised me to install two Multifan Ceiling Fans in combination with opening the top and bottom of a garage door. An accessible and flexible solution that suits my situation. Moreover, I can control the fans and thus adjust the speed, for example, when more people are present or when it gets warmer”.
“I am very happy with the results. The oppressive and hot air is no longer present, and air is being displaced. Fresh air enters through the top of the garage door and is exhausted back out through the Ceiling Fans. It makes a big difference for the people that are exercising. When I compare the current situation with the way things were before, I notice a big difference. In addition, our customers feel safer because there is now proper ventilation in place. I think that's very important in these corona times.”
