Sand casting is highly suitable for creating single pieces as well as small and medium batches. With aluminum Sand Casting, the most complicated casting can be produced in an extremely efficient and precise manner.

The right technique for complex forms and small batches

In sand casting, an imprint of a casting is pressed in sand. This imprint is located in a casting flask, which we use as a die during the casting process. We have three types of casting flasks with different dimensions: 800x650x250/205mm, 1250x700x250/250mm and 880x880x250/250mm.

We distinguish ourselves by using natural form sand instead of synthetic sand. This results in a smoother and sleeker surface with great dimensional accuracy and reproducibility.

Fast prototyping thanks to 3D sand printing

With the help of 3D sand printing techniques, we can manufacture aluminum products in the same way as during our regular sand casting process. However, in 3D sand printing, there is no need to develop tools. This enables you to considerable shorten your turnaround time and reduce investment costs. The cast product does have similar mechanical properties compared to the final cast product, which means that you can test prototypes in great detail.
