New motor cover and sticker From the end of January 2008 Vostermans Ventilation is supplying motors with new motor covers. The purpose of this change is to focus on a clear and uniform presentation of the Multifan logo, as well as the technical data. The logo is in a central position and is clearly recognisable. The information can be read easily above and below the logo. The dimensions of the covers remain unchanged. |

Multifan 130 in houses for breeders A potential customer in Korea contacted the local Multifan dealer several months ago. The current fans of a different brand needed replacing before the end of their expected service life. These fans regularly broke down, mainly due to water infiltrating fan and motor. Since breeders are housed in these livestock buildings, the risk was too high for the customer. Following the contact with Vostermans Ventilation, a solution was found involving installation of the Multifan 130 at an angle, as had also been done with the previous fans. The most important reasons for choosing Multifan were durability and the associated reduction of risk. |

Images of fans and new website Vostermans Ventilation has recorded images of a large number of products. The images of many fans are available in high resolution, from the front, the side or in perspective. If you also want to use these images for your documentation or Internet site, please feel free to contact us. The new Vostermans Ventilation website will be up and running in the near future. These product images will also be shown there. But what we always need are photographs of our products actually in use! Durability in practice One of the attractive features of the Multifan is its excellent quality. But how do you get this message across to your customers? Via the long guarantee? Via technical details? Via references? The Multifan dealer in Malaysia had a more original idea: I’ll provide physical evidence! At the trade fair he exhibited not only the new fan but also one dating from 1980, which was still functioning after 28 years in poultry houses! |

Mf-Net is given a new look The modular Mf-Net regulating equipment will be given a new look in the coming months. In the past Mf-Net was deployed as a component of the Multifan package, but in future this line will have its own colour and image, and can be used in a wide range of agricultural and industrial applications. In the months ahead the various regulators will be finished in a new colour, with a new housing and new setting panels. To give you an impression, see below the photograph of the new-look Frelink-4f. Technology is the future Vostermans Ventilation supports many initiatives designed to foster technical education. Only very recently, the firm offered a helping hand to the Bike-a-licious project. The aim of the project was to stimulate young people to develop technical solutions. For instance, part of this project entailed designing a streamlined bicycle. The young designers set to work with an old bike and construction materials. The streamlined bicycles were then tested and evaluated in the specially constructed wind tunnel, a first step in aerodynamics. |

Cooling car engines After earlier tests at the GP A1 in Malaysia, Vostermans Ventilation was given the opportunity to carry out tests with cooling racing car engines for the race in Zandvoort, Netherlands. A TurboPro fan was used to project air through sheaths to cool the engines. |
