Unique advantages of Multifan bearings

Vostermans Ventilation developed, in close coöperation with the manufacturer of the bearings, a special execution for Multifan and Mf-flex motors in order to withstand the extreme circumstances and conditions in which these fans are used.

1. Seal
The bearing types are executed with a seal which has following advantages: Slight frictional resistance, yet excellent sealing properties. The seal material consists of siliconerubber with a high resistance against chemicals and high temperatures.

2. Bearing clearance
For the radial bearing clearance a C4 execution was chosen in order to ensure a constant light running of the bearing. Any clearance reduction is absorbed in all cases occurring in applications, such as fluctuating temperatures due to varying fan speed and fluctuating load of the fans (caused e.g. by head wind).

3. Bearing grease
The bearing grease, especially developed by the supplier, meets the following specifications: very well suitable for application with high as well as low motor temperatures (-40+180°C), high RPM, low frictional resistance. Furthermore, the grease has good characteristics with respect to load, water, chemicals and a very low noise level. The high degree of admission of the bearing causes a small amount of the grease to spill for a greased seal.

These bearings cannot be purchased in regular trade, but are exclusively manufactured for and supplied to Vostermans Ventilation.
