Preventing heat stress with the Multifan Dairy fan
Heat stress results into production loss, an increased risk for diseases and lower fertility. One of the simplest methods to reduce heat stress is the application of recirculation fans. The Multifan dairy fan is known for a very high air volume (48500 m3/h at 0 Pa), efficiency (25.3 W/1000 m3/h) and high throw (146 m). Installing fans above feeding places promotes the feed intake at high-yielding dairy cows and reduces the risk of production loss significantly. The photos were taken in a completely new stable in Central Europe with two rows of Multifan Dairy fans above the feeding places.
